Circling Back

One of the things I love about blogging is the way it reinforces shared memories, while also demonstrating that each person remembers different things about the same experience. That's an obvious point, but still valuable. cpratt has been doing this "Because It's My Blog" series in which he reprises old photos. Today I was in one of them with Chris. And Kim was the photographer. It was fun to remember that day together.

The horrible embarassing thing is that I had basically no memory of what actually happened that weekend until you and Kim jogged my memory. In fact, I had even forgotten Kim was there - she's not in the picture, so I somehow assumed you'd taken it yourself. I had to immediately rewrite that post the second I realized my mistake... d'oh!
