Projection

Well, I did get to watch the game last night. We had a sort of Thanksgiving Dinner in August and, between political discussions, I managed to see most of the pertinent action. Of course, I was thinking about Barry Bonds, who went to the hospital for rest instead of playing. Selfishly, I want him to play today, since it's my only chance to see him live. But my worries about his health go beyond that. I remember when J.R. Richard had his stroke. You never know when it comes to things like that, no matter how healthy a person seems.

I also remember how I felt when I learned Len Bias died. ( More on Len Bias )
