I'm not operating on all cylinders today. Maybe it's the Benadryl I had to take last night or the extreme dryness in the air here, but I feel slow.
Turns of phrase that usually take me minutes have been taking hours to get right and, even then, they aren't quite right.
That's not a big deal, though, because tomorrow there will be a delicious feast at Laura's. Hooray!
Before I forget, though, I wanted to pass on the link for an awesome site my friend Eric showed me. It's like language poetry or, better still, a long-lost Perec story.
I'm going to go read on the couch to see if that helps to clear my mind.
