On the way out of AJ's this evening, after replenishing herself with her de rigeur chicken and thin-sliced cheese, Skylar paused atop her hobby horse to ask a question completely out of the purple-minus-red:
"What was the beginning of language?"
In the ensuing discussion, Skylar discussed the importance of sign language for people who can't hear well and we explained to her how Braille works.
