Theory and Practice

"He's theory; I'm practice," was the comment. And that got me thinking. What am I? I seem incapable of not theorizing -- it's like breathing to me -- yet, for all my laboriously maintained resistances, there's something in me that prefers the deed to the word. At the very least, I want to apply theory to practice. I suppose that makes me a pragmatist, not to mention stereotypically American.
