Speaking of Timing

We just got home from the movies and TJ's. While Kim went to pick up Skylar from her parents -- yes, we've decided to try that option again -- I put away the groceries. Then I turned on the television to see number 699 on the first pitch I watched. Not much better than that for this fan.

BTW, in light of my long entry from yesterday, Barry is as twined with my post-9/11 memories as my sister. For me, it was number 70 that made the biggest impression. A relief after so much tension.
