Once, for the briefest of periods, I had hair and the attitude to go along with it. It lasted approximately six months, climaxing in the photo for my undergraduate photo ID, taken in August, 1987:

By the time I applied the last sticker, three and a half years later, I was well on my way to baldness. But the look was good while it lasted. Go Bears!

The other day I featured that cute photo of Thing Two amid decorative fall vegetables. In the interest of fairness, then, I now present his far, far larger brother Thing One, engaged in one of his favorite practices: wall hugging.

It's a lot quieter than his other habits of 1) herding Kim into the bedroom as soon as Skylar goes to bed and 2) dragging articles of her clothing around the house as though they were newly slaughtered antelopes. We love him, though. He's one of a kind.
