All I Really Want For Christmas. . .

. . . is for everyone in my family to be healthy and happy. kdotdammit has been under the weather for so long that even the small amount of moisture in the Tucson air is giving her a back ache. I want her to feel better. I want that soon.

I'm ever so pleased that the San Francisco supervisors have voted to rename the Bay Bridge after the Emperor Norton, both because he's an excellent figure to honor -- anyone who imposes a fine for the saying of "Frisco" has my support -- and because reading the news reminded me of kdotdammit's excellent poem in which he figures.
