If "adept" is the opposite of "dept," than I'm a. . .

. . . "dept."

Last night, as I was cleaning the cat boxes, I used the retractable box-cutter to open a new bag of litter. "Hey," I thought to myself, "this is the blade I finally figured out how to install in the casing."

That moment of pride quickly evaporated, though, when I realized that, not only had I managed this task after hours of confusion, but that its successful execution ranked in the Top-10 of my own personal Mechanical Achievement Awards. In other words, I'm better off sticking to words.

Luck of the Graph

We had a fine morning. The dress was green. The toast was green. The milk was green.

My bracket was still fresh and clean as a whistle. And Gerhard Richter played the leprechaun and snuck inside my digital camera.

Now that truly is ein glänzender Moment.
