Over My Head

Air Force One flew right over my head outside the Modern Languages Building a few minutes ago. The funny thing is that I heard it before I saw it and immediately knew that the plane was out of the ordinary. Ironically, Skylar spent the entire drive to school this morning discussing the differences between Democrats and Republicans. As we were making the turn onto Manzanita Lane, she offered me her latest conclusions about George W. Bush, which I quote here precisely as she spoke them: "I think the reason why he always thinks he's doing the right thing and doesn't listen to people who disagree with him is because his parents took such good care of him. They gave him everything he wanted and that spoiled him. If you always get your way you turn sour inside."
