It's rare that a game lives up to the pre-game hype, but the Arizona-Oklahoma State contest actually managed to exceed it. I was surprised how enthusiastically I was rooting for the Wildcats. I hollered. I leaned forward in my seat. I felt my stomach ball up. Salim Stoudamire's game-winning shot was both predictable and surpassingly wondrous. I know that the idea of the "clutch" performance is largely illusory, as Steven keeps reminding me, but Salim sure seems like the exception to the rule. On to Illinois!
