Blissing Out

I'm sitting here in our motel room -- we start camping tomorrow -- importing the photographs I took this evening while Skylar sits across from me, making another one of her latest specialties, an assemblage of small artworks, some in two dimensions and some in three. We just returned from Chipotle on El Camino Real in Encinitas, where she and Mark had enormous fun playing "drink stand" while Kim, Gilda, Tim and I talked. Before that, the five of us spent several hours on Moonlight State Beach, enjoying ourselves despite the Memorial Day crowds. I'm extremely happy right now. I thought you should know.
