The American Flag

You could write that the American flag died quickly, how
purifying-pills played a minor role, the intervention in
Vietnam, red squares, a desecration previously discussed.
But the state was fine in its little corner. Alabama, Oklahoma,
Cunard etc. manifested new popularity: 30 sports programs,
wonderful boutiques. Sybaritic? Of course. $100,
increasing with days, and obtaining passage by Vistafjord --
that'd had it thinking of new facilities, phonetic revision,
and exercise. Now the deal is up. Or down. Recent
laws, owned by "W," are mostly a way to get a piece of
the flag and kill true research. They should jail them when
found, those of the old and white "has breakfast on deck" clubs.
Anyway, that jazz is in. Desecration is here and very now.

[livejournal.com profile] art_thirst has taken the bait of my last entry, inspired, in turn, by [livejournal.com profile] amnesiascope's [livejournal.com profile] counter_memory avatar. My own rules are simple:
• You have to use every word in the original message; no additions or subtractions are permitted;
• You can change the punctuation and capitalization at will;
• If the original message had line breaks of the sort you see in poems, you must have the same number of lines in your revision
Luckily, many of the messages I've been getting consist of fourteen lines. Talk about handy! Ted Berrigan here I come. Anyone want to collaborate on a "spam cookbook"?

It's interesting that Skylar is spending her final recuperation day deeply engrossed in Tigger-related projects in light of this news.

Today's reptile sighting was Felicia, whom we haven't seen in a while. She was both healthy and "healthy," as my partner's co-worker used to use the term. But that didn't stop her from forcefully requesting a three-course dinner of strawberry tops, tomatoes, and TJ's organic greens, supplemented by a cup of water poured over her shell. She has been eating for twenty minutes and shows no sign of letting up. That's always been her practice, though, to consume a lot at a time. I'll tell you, though. If I were a mixed green, her visage would strike fear in my heart:

Make way for her majesty, the Lizard of Lettuce!
