Hard To Fathom

The San Francisco Giants, who haven't seen the better side of .500 baseball since early in the season, are now only three games out with less than week to play. Tonight they were down 2-1 in the ninth inning, but still pulled it out. I know they have no business being in a pennant race, yet I'm too much of a fan to turn my head in shame. I'm rooting for you, worst-team-to-still-have-a-chance-at-making-the-playoffs-this-late-in-the-season.
