Orange Blue

While I am delighted that the Pac-10 got six bids to the men's NCAA tourney, it's depressing that the last one may have come at least partially at the expense of my father's alma mater Syracuse. The Orange didn't have a particularly tough schedule this year, but their victory over Georgetown, a two seed, late in the regular season and the fact that they won six of their last games prior to the Big East tournament had me thinking that they'd make the Dance. I have to call tomorrow to offer my condolences.
