To Err Is Human

Despite my uncharacteristically bold prediction at the start of the NBA playoffs, Chris Webber will not be hoisting any trophy. It seems hard to imagine that Tim Duncan will be similarly denied, but you never know with Mr. James and his gang, who keep surprising us. I watched many Texas games when Daniel Gibson was there, but I never saw that coming. Maybe Bill Simmons is right when he claims that Rick Barnes is one of the worst coaches in the business. At any rate, I'm happy for siyeh and her long-suffering compatriots, even if I have little personal investment in the Cavaliers' story. I do hope that they make a series of it, because I have more basketball-watching in me.
