I Had a Great Day

Despite everything, it's still possible for the clouds to break. I got to see the dawn drape over the Catalina Range. I had a delicious breakfast with my daughter at Café Jasper. I had a series of wonderful extended visits in office hours, including one about changing definitions of masculinity that was remarkably productive for me. I taught a great Literary Analysis course this afternoon, two and a half hours of me at my best. I rocked out to Die Ärzte on the way home. I was happy to hear Dick Vitale's voice once again gracing the airwaves. And I ate a delicious spicy tofu-ginger-and-beef dish over rice.
