The Waiting Is Over

On the day that the Monsoon seemed to arrive full force, I was able -- wait for it -- to wear shoes with laces for an entire day without incurring major corporeal penalties. Now that I'm sitting at the computer, I can feel my body trying to extract belated revenge. But that's alright, because the air smells great and I was able to avoid wearing those dreadful oversized ersatz Crocs in the wetness, thereby managing to evade the horrible squishy sensation.
