Watching Nate Longshore last year and tonight, it occurred to me that we might be suffering from the same form of curse. Of course, since his troubles are mostly the result of panicky reads of situations that can only be conquered with calm, that would mean that the instruction I keep muttering to myself, "Deep breaths. Deep breaths," is correct, even if I continue to hyper-ventilate. I wonder if Nate has a mantra.
