Sometimes the Right Is More Sinister Than the Left

It's nice to see that Barack Obama did not lose his wits or his wit, amid all the solemnity of the day. Here's what he said while making his first proclamation as President:

"I'm a lefty. Get used to it," Obama quipped as he signed his name. "I was told not to swipe the pen."

I just hope that he is able to steer the nation on a course where he will have the opportunity to get used to it.
