As the clouds started to converge today, the sky slowly darkening, I decided to defer my errands and race up to the Linda Vista trailhead, about two miles from our house, to see if I could get a good shot of Pusch Ridge in its diaphanous state before the rains really started to come down. I didn't go very far up the trail, but did manage to get these lovely barrel cactus blossoms in the foreground to offset the vaporous quality of the mountains in the distance
