cats are intense. no love lost between my cat and my boyfriend of yesteryear, he would sit and write and stuff all day, ignoring the cat ignoring him, and then about 15 mins before i would arrive the cat would get up and wait by the front door, so j used to stand up and look out the window, and i would finally come into sight. i didn't have regular hours, it could happen any time. rupert sheldrake's 'quantum band'. i reckon yr bean has it going on with that cat.
