Coordinating meet-ups between people who have too few mobile phones -- my parents, who have none -- and too many -- me, Kim, my sister and her husband -- can be very exhausting. We haven't seen anybody yet and I'm already in need of a psychological nap. Still, the prospect of finally seeing my nephew, as well as my daughter's excitement at seeing him, and having my parents there too is happy enough to provide the emotional caffeine I need to make it through the next few hours of converging on a spot.
