This is truly a follicular triumph for these Giants. My favorite thing about this WS was getting to watch Timmy Lincecum pitch - there are many great pitchers I have seen, but I have never seen anyone who looks like he does when he pitches... I don't remember Mark Fidrych very well, but it seems to me he's the only other guy who I ever saw who was so interesting in the actual act of throwing a baseball that I would want to see the game just for that.
Also, I love this photo because of the contrast between the size of Wilson's forearm & Lincecum's torso - Popeye's got nothing on Wilson. His forearm actually makes Lincecum's torso look tiny. How'd that little guy pitch so well-?!
