Handwriting

I've been writing in a journal -- I can't bring myself to write "journaling" -- during brief rest periods over the past few days. In an ideal world, I'd be transcribing my entries for you right now and they would be interesting. But the ladies are sleeping and I'm too tired anyway. I'll confine myself to noting that my "penpersonship" is truly abominable. I screw up every third letter in cursive unless I slow way down. I'd better get back in handwriting shape before the apocalypse results in the disappearance of inexpensive electrical power, don't you think?

something tells me you'll rise from the ashes of the old world and become one of those post-apocalypse warlords about whom sci-fi and fantasy writers like so much to fantasize. then you can put a dozen or two former intellectuals to work transcribing your every thought as you recline on a throne of skulls deep within your mountain redoubt.

Awesome! I was totally hoping that was in the cards. As for the "inexpensive electrical power," my recent bills beautifully demonstrate the astonishing decline in prices. It's like paying nothing at all!
