I recently returned from the after party for my sister Miriam's wedding. After lurking in the hotel bar long enough to see the highlights of Cal's 41-6 victory over Stanford -- "Go Bears!" -- I came up to our room to seek rejuvenation. Before I do, though, let me note that the wedding was a smashing success. Miriam was happy. And I got to talk to relatives like Robert, Debbie, Jennifer, Raman, and Kishan, none of whom I'd seen since of late. That part, the reconnecting with family, was a blast. In between the festive moments, I took photographs. Here' my nighttime interlude:
