What can you say? I don't know what Materazzi said to Zidane, but it was hard to root for France after the red card. It's certainly fitting that Grosso clinched it, given what a key role he'd played in Italy's march to the final. Overall, the match was really exciting. Buffon's save on Zidane in overtime was superb. The French certainly had their chances. But Zidane ended up throwing some away. I hope it was worth it for him.
