Picture of the Moment

I've had some nice compliments on my photographs lately, as well as a request to show more of them. I'll try to do that. In the meantime, though, let me introduce you to my "Picture of the Moment" album -- once again on the sidebar to the right of my entries -- where I store all the pictures I've taken myself and then presented here on De File (as well as a few others, I should add). I don't blow my own bassoon very often, but I have to admit to feeling a surge of pride as I scrolled down through the photographs -- they're now arranged with the most recent at the top of the page, BTW -- a few minutes ago. There's a nice balance between family shots and the abstract compositions I am drawn to in my more reflective moments.

I've been meaning to say I like this page lots.
Though I want captions, I like it without them. For a variety of reasons I don't wanna type out.

Thank you so much. I wasn't thinking about LJ when I wrote that, really, but it makes me enormously happy to have my photographs acknowledged. I'm deeply invested in them individually, but also as an ensemble. The captions usually come in the title of the LJ entries in which the photos appear, for what it's worth. But I like to have the page itself spare of anything other than images.
