I'm going to be free from roughly 6pm to 9pm this evening. I can amuse myself, I suppose, but would also love to get together with anyone who wants to get together in that window of time. Does this sound like a pathetic plea for companionship? Well, it is. Dude I totally want to hang out, but I have a Fascinations party to do at 6 p.m. and those take several hours. I guess I can't complain, because hopefully that'll make me some money for school, but I wish I could be in two places at once.

Not to compete with A's bbq invite, but there is a pretty awesome show going down at Congress tonight - Al Perry, Molehill, Naim Amor, et al - for the release of the new Spork. And it's free. That starts around 8, I think, so it's toward the edge of your 9 p.m. window, but I thought I'd throw it out there. I will be there hanging with fermi_daza, I don't know if you've met her or not, but she's fantastic.

I wanted to see that show. But Kim is out of town, so I'm only free until Kids' Night Out is over. Then it's stay-home-with-the-Bean night. But thanks for the invite, which I would otherwise have accepted gladly.

That would have been fun. She's already confirmed for Kids' Night Out, but maybe we could do it another time? It might be a nice father-daughter activity for when mom is away.

Definitely another time. As is confirmed by my tuesday of picking Jet up from school, saying on the drive home "look at those clouds over the mountains, want to go camping in them?" and then being on the road an hour or so after he said "yes", I will indeed go camping at the drop of a hat. :)

I didn't get a chance to write about it yet, tuesday nights trip, but it's just gorgeous back there now. Green green green lush and water rushing through the stream.
