Impulse Control

I keep wanting to compose e-mails for which both the subject header and body are some variation on "??????????" Sometimes I even get to the point of clicking send. So far, though, I have managed to restrain myself. I'm not sure that's a sign of a long-deferred maturation or not, but I'm holding out hope that it might turn out to be.

Experiment

This isn't really related to your post. Yesterday I created a blog experiment. http://crystal-palace-abdication.blogspot.com/
Every day I will name a time, and I am hoping that people will post, in the comments section, their experience of that sixty seconds. I got a digital camera and, for my part, I am going to post a photograph of my sixty seconds, if I can figure out how to do that. This was all inspired by the mass-observation people from the thirties in Britain. This seems like the sort of thing you might be interested in, or other people who read your blog.
