Indeed! Skylar asked me, on the ride over to her friend's Halloween-themed party, "Which do you like better, Dad, goth or punk?" I told her that I was partial to impure hybrids of the two. When I picked her up several hours later, after much revelry that included bouncing on a giant trampoline, she said, "I started out goth, but when my make-up started to smear I became punk."
She had a great day. I wish we could have seen you in L.A., but we were only there for a few hours, almost all of them spent inside the American Girl Store (which you would probably dig, especially the historical doll section).
