Right nearby, on the Mount Lemmon Highway, just north of Tucson. It's awesome. The road runs twenty-two miles, going from 3000 feet in the foothills to almost 9000 at the top of the ridge.
Awesome indeed! People would pay good money just to drive those 22 miles, I think, if that's the scenery they would see. Or at least to see a video of someone else's drive.
